When a sculpture is finished, Sanejouand needs to go back to his brushes. It is his way to breathe before focusing on the next sculpture. It is also a way to keep his mind and his hands busy. And also to remain as free as possible. To this aim, he choosed to work on paper and to work fast. The results are embryos of landscapes. Trees are like in calligraphies, made with a few bruch strokes. Stones are more elaborate. Sometimes both come together. In any case, it is always a matter of space and freedom.
